B.C. Read

B.C. Read has been performing his unique style of Roots, Blues and Americana music since the late 1970’s. He has toured throughout Canada as a solo artist and with his band.

He has been nominated for Western Canadian Music Awards, Voted “Best Single Artist” in his home town (Saskatoon) and been charted in the top 10 for Canadian Roots/Blues Albums for 3 of his 4 albums. He is currently working on album #5 with a tentative release date of late 2021. He has also been extremely active in the “Blues In The Schools” program and continues to educate young people about Roots/Blues Music. B.C. is also available to perform with is long time Stand Up Bass player George Tennent.
