Internationally recognized artist Gina Burgess is a violinist and composer. A former member of the Iqaluit-based rock band, “The Jerry Cans” and the Hot Swing group “Gypsophilia”, Burgess is a sought after performer and collaborator with numerous ensembles. Her latest album, “ISNOW”, mixes classical, celtic, contemporary Inuit throat singing, and elements of jazz. Burgess’s original music has been described as ethereal and genre-bending.
