Lindsey Walker

Edmonton based, Winnipeg bred Lindsey Walker searches for beauty in the darkness in her Edmonton Music Award Album of the Year nominated this desolate bliss. (2017). Apocalyptic, cinematic and achingly sincere, this atmospheric roots-rock album draws upon the sonic inspiration of Led Zeppelin, Jeff Buckley and Alabama Shakes.  Lindsey Walker was shortlisted for the 2019 Edmonton Music Prize, nominated for Female Artist of the Year at the Edmonton Music Awards (2018), and was voted Best of Edmonton Solo Artist by Vue Weekly (2017). On releasing this desolate bliss., she earned distinction as a Canadian Songwriting Competition semi-finalist with the eerie track “St. Petersburg”. The simmering “Window” also drew notice by winning an EMA for Indie Rock Recording of the Year (2018).  Find her wandering in the night hunting all that dares to glimmer.
