Ô Renard

Ô Renard is a versatile folk band from Lanaudière that can either get smooth and cozy as a guitar-banjo duet, or rhythmic and unleashed as a trio, their main identity. Formerly known as "The Lower Body Injuries", where the guys were mainly playing a variety of English and French-quebecois covers, they recently changed their name for "Ô Renard" (loose translation for "Watch out for the fox!") because they mainly offer their own songs, written in French-quebecois. They still put some covers with a nice twist and unique style in their setlist, because it's part of their DNA. The trio played a bunch of different gigs through the province of Quebec, opening twice for the mythic "Vilain Pingouin" and sharing the same programme with "La Grand Messe" (tribute to "Les Cowboys Fringants") and "Daniel Boucher", amongst others. One of their song, "Zoné Agricole" (available on your favorite streaming website!), has been shining on the Parti Québécois National Day Spotify setlist!A cool and fine trio with beautiful vocal harmonies and a chemistry between the guys, worth a listen!

Ô Renard est un groupe folk lanaudois versatile, tantôt ben relax en duo, tantôt plus rythmé et plus éclaté en trio, leur formule principale. Autrefois connu sous le nom des Lower Body Injuries où ils offraient essentiellement des reprises anglophones et francophones, ils ont changé pour Ô Renard pour mieux refléter leur nouvelle vocation: présenter leurs propres compositions en français. Bien qu'ils proposent essentiellement leur matériel original, ils ont gardé leur essence en glissant dans leur répertoire des reprises de chansons variées, avec leur twist spéciale et unique. Le trio s'est produit sur diverses scènes québécoises, notamment en première partie (deux fois!) du mythique band québécois Vilain Pingouin et sur la même programmation que La Grand Messe et Daniel Boucher. Une de leur chanson, "Zoné agricole" (disponible sur toutes les plateformes), s'est retrouvée dans le palmarès de la Liste de la Fête nationale du Parti Québécois sur Spotify en 2024! Un trio très sympa avec de belles harmonies vocales et une chimie entre les musiciens, à entendre!
